I think you should spend as much time with your grandparents as humanly possible. Every year growing up, I’d spend the summer with my grandparents at their cabin on Pelican Lake and I learned a lot, but mostly I learned respect. Respect for people and for life.
For a lot of my clients, I’ve found that I can add the most value by being a problem solver. I can be objective and help them prioritize what they want versus what they need. It’s a great way to simplify things and make better decisions.
